Mollie Crammond

Mollie found her love for engineering at a young age in secondary school after her guitar teacher introduced her to DAW software for recording and creating music. She became invested in learning about sound desks and recording, which led her to study for a Diploma in Sound Engineering and Production. She proceeded to an internship at Metropolis Studios where she was then singled out to work with us full-time. While furthering her studies to a BA Honars Degree in Sound Engineering she was thrown into a world of recording with amazing, creative artists, where she learnt to capture and sculpt audio.

She began to really hone her craft at Metropolis; learning, observing and working her way up to an assistant sound engineer. She gained experience in different aspects of the industry including live sound, choirs, orchestras, film, TV and individual artists.

At the heart of her passion for recording and mixing Mollie believes that getting the artist’s aspiration and sound is the most important part. Getting to know them and their sound plays a huge part in capturing their performance and bringing their vision to life.
