Situated in a huge Grade II listed power station set over five floors, Metropolis Studios lends a compelling backdrop for film productions, TV productions, photography and lifestyle shoots, product launches and ad-agency productions. Our rooms and communal spaces can be prepped and dressed to match any DOP’s needs; the studios, our bar, the external perimeter, large atriums, and corridors. The list goes on.

Metropolis Studios is home to the live to vinyl format. Recording ‘live to vinyl’ is the original method artists used for public music recordings. At Metropolis Studios, we’ve revived this forgotten art using our cutting lathes. With the added pressure of a studio audience, we can also create truly emotive experiences for both artists and music fans. The beauty lies in documenting a perfect moment in time on to a physical audio product for subsequent manufacturing and distribution.
